On behalf of National Statistics Day, the Department of Statistics at Sir Syed College Taliparamba organized a highly anticipated debate competition on July 11, 2024, in Data Analysis Centre. The event drew significant attention, highlighting the importance of AI in Modern scenario Renowned for their expertise, Salim Sir from the Department of English and Navas Sir from the Department of Malayalam were chosen as the distinguished judges. Their vast knowledge and critical acumen promised a rigorous and insightful evaluation process. INTERDEPARTMENTAL QUIZ COMPETITION

The quiz competition of National Statistics Day held on 25/07/2024, was a resounding success. Organized by the Department of Statistics at Sir Syed College, the event featured 8 teams from various departments, competing in rounds covering basics of statistics , modern statistics , general knowledge and rapid-fire questions. The competition was intense, with students demonstrating remarkable knowledge and quick thinking. The team from chemistry department clinched the first place, followed by mathematics department. The event, judged by Thanseeha Mam and hosted by Sandra, also saw enthusiastic participation from the audience, who engaged in interactive questions.Overall, the quiz competition not only highlighted the academic prowess of the students but also fostered a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition.
