Sir Syed College Teachers Association’s initiative for Financial Empowerment of students (SAFE) is an innovative and altruistic initiative aimed at uplifting financially disadvantaged students within a college community. It was started in 2015 and his project seeks to bridge the financial gap for these students by harnessing the collective support of teachers, staff, and the wider college community. By providing financial assistance, resources, and mentorship, SAFE aims to ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to excel academically and reach their full potential. Project SAFE evaluates its success through academic performance improvement, increased graduation rates, and the overall well-being of the supported students. Additionally, feedback from teachers, mentors, and students is gathered to continuously improve the program. This project embodies the values of equity, community, and education, making it a beacon of hope for those in need.
