Jeevani Centre for Student’s Wellbeing

Jeevani Centre for Student’s Wellbeing is implemented by the Department of Collegiate Education of Government of Kerala, in government and aided colleges. Jeevani is intended to improve awareness and promotion of mental health among college students along with ensuring early identification of psychological issues among students. Late adolescence and emerging adulthood are the basic period which paves ways to successful lives of students. By addressing age appropriate psychological and social factors, in this period, Jeevani ensures skill development which are necessary for managing their personal and academic lives. Jeevani counselors will be with students in their journey in college, sharing their joys and sorrows, helping them with their pains.

Major aim of Jeevani Centre for Students Wellbeing is universal prevention by promoting help seeking behavior among students as well teachers and informing them about the nature of help available for them. Jeevani Centre for Students Wellbeing provides one to one counseling, awareness programs, intervention programs related to academic and personal development, socio-emotional development etc. to ensure improved mental health and overall development of students.
