Students Union

The College Union is constituted according to the instructions issued from the University from time to time.

The Union Council

  • The President of the Union: Principal
  • The Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Joint Secretary of the College Union
  • Secretary of each of the various subject associations
  • One representative each of the various classes such as I, II & III Degree and PG
  • Secretary, Fine Arts
  • Student Editor of the College Magazine
  • General Captain, Sports and Games
  • The Staff Advisor nominated by the Principal
  • The University Union Councilors (Two)

The objective of the College Union is

  • to train students of the College in the duties and rights of citizens.
  • to promote opportunities for the development of character, leadership, efficiency, knowledge and spirit of service among students.
  • to organize sports, arts and other cultural and recreational activities and (iv) to take all such other activities that are relevant and incidental to the objectives of the University Union. There shall be a Union

The Union secretary shall act as the Secretary of the Executive Committee. The Union council shall meet at the beginning of the academic year and formulate its activities for the year. It shall also meet subsequently whenever necessary. The Staff Advisor will provide advice for the effective and smooth functioning of the college union. Secretary/Staff Advisor shall keep the minutes of all meetings in the Union Register Book.
