Home for Homeless

home

"Home for the Homeless" is a compassionate and transformative initiative undertaken by the Sir Syed College community, demonstrating the power of collective action. This scheme is a joint effort, bringing together the National Service Scheme (NSS), National Cadet Corps (NCC), Students union, dedicated alumni, and the college's committed staff, all working together to make a positive difference in the lives of those in need.

The heart of this initiative lies in the construction and provision of homes for those who are homeless. To date, a remarkable total of seven houses have been constructed and handed over to deserving families, providing them with a place they can call home. Notably, four of these houses have been constructed in Koralayi Island, exemplifying the far-reaching impact of this scheme. "Home for the Homeless" is a testament to the values of compassion, community, and social responsibility, reflecting the college's commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Through this initiative, we aim to uplift individuals and families, providing them with a safe and secure place to live and fostering a stronger sense of belonging within our community.
