The department came into existence in 2016 as the Department of Journalism, offering complementary courses such as Introduction to Mass Communication, Print Media Practices, Television Journalism, and Film Studies to the Department of Functional English, Malayalam and History. In 2020, we expanded our vision and introduced the new generation programme - Bachelor of Multimedia Communication (BMMC).
Since then, our commitment has remained steadfast, focused on providing a comprehensive and contemporary education in multimedia communication and journalism.
