Department of History is having a well maintained Library, which is consisted of large Number of Books dealing with various academic and Non- academic subjects. It includes book son Ancient, Medieval and Modern India, Kerala History, Cultural Studies, Human rights, World History, Methodology of Social Science…etc. Along with this, there are number of articles, Journals and Magazines are available in the library.

Heritage Museum

History Department is having a well – maintained Heritage museum. Heritage Museum of Sir Syed College is the cultural expression of the life of the people of North Malabar. It comprised of Coins, Inscriptions, Megalithic Monuments, Burial remains and household objects. The museum is the best example of preservation of cultural heritage of North Malabar, Especially Kannur and Kasaragod Districts.
