The session was inaugurated by Principal-in-Charge Hamsa C.K., who emphasized the significance of women’s empowerment in today’s society. Ms. Afeefa Rasheed, a renowned trainer from the Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission, delivered the keynote address, sharing valuable insights on the importance of financial independence and the role of skill development in shaping the future. She also narrated her inspiring journey as a woman entrepreneur, encouraging students to embrace opportunities for self-growth and career advancement. The event commenced with a welcome address by Haseena K.P., Secretary of LASS, and was felicitated by Dr. Gayathri R Nambiar, Dr. Haseena K.P.A., and Sneha C. Connecting Taliparamba in Association with Sir Syed College. Date - 6th March, 2025 Venue - Sir Syed College Job Station Company - OrysisIndia Consultancy Services, Technopark, Trivandrum A successful placement drive was conducted on 6th March 2025 by Connecting Taliparamba in collaboration with Sir Syed College, offering career opportunities at OrysisIndia Consultancy Services, a Technopark-based company. The event took place at the Sir Syed College Job Station, bringing together aspiring candidates eager to step into the professional world. Selection Process The recruitment process comprised three key stages: 1. Aptitude Test 2. Group Discussion 3. Personal Interview A total of 37 candidates participated, including five final-year Commerce students. After a rigorous evaluation, 23 candidates were shortlisted, among whom were all five Commerce students, Sir Syed College The recruiters were highly impressed by the candidates' skills, confidence, and overall performance.
