The Department of Forestry was established in the year 1999 offering B.Sc. Forestry programme, and every year twenty nine (24 + 5 marginal increase) students are admitted. The syllabus is mainly based on various aspects of forestry and wood technology such as silviculture, forest ecology, forest protection, forest management, forest economics, forest mensuration, wildlife, wood preservation, wood degradation, wood physics etc. The success rate of students in the University Examination is more than 85% every year.
